Spirit AeroSystems’ Global TransPark plant notches milestone

The Spirit AeroSystems production facility in Kinston, NC has achieved a major milestone with the shipment of its first composite fuselage section panels made for the Airbus A350 XWB.

The panels are being sent to Spirit’s production facility in Saint-Nazaire, France, for integration of the panels into the upper shell of the aircraft body. [read full article at the Triangle Business Journal]
